Arkansas State Flag
The state of Arkansas Flag is digitally printed on 200 denier SolarMax® nylon. The fabric is made for outdoor use with four rows of stitching on the fly end. The material of the flag starts as white, the red background and blue diamond, stars and "ARKANSAS" are printed using DuPont ink. The flag is treated to resist sun and chemical deterioration. The state of Arkansas flag is printed single side reverse, which means it reads correctly on the front and reads in reverse on the back, our minds can easily read in reverse, so I'm sure you have never noticed Arkansas reading backwards. Our flags are have canvas header material and brass grommets on 12"x18" through 6'x10'. 8'x12' and larger are finished with D Rings and either canvas webbing or rope and thimble. 4'x6' and smaller are available with pole hem and/or fringe.

History of the Arkansas State Flag:
- The flag was adopted on February 26,1913
- Flag symbolism
- The white diamond represents the only diamond-bearing state in the Union at the time.
- The Blue border around the white field represents the “saltire” also known as Saint Andrews Cross
- The 25 white, 5-point stars inside the blue border indicate Arkansas being the 25th state to join the Union
- The three blue stars in the white field represented France, Spain, and the United States, countries that had earlier ruled that land.
- There were a few modifications made in 1923, 1924, and 2011
- In 1913 the flag had three blue stars on the white field, with one above Arkansas and two below representing the other countries
- In 1923 a fourth star was added to the white field representing the Confederate States of America – this star was also placed above the word Arkansas – so there were 2 stars above Arkansas and 2 stars below
- In 1924 the flag was changed again, because the 4th star disturbed the meaning of the original 3 stars, they eventually put one star above Arkansas and three below. This design was confirmed as law in 1987 by Governor Bill Clinton.
